BMW will pilot BMW I experience stores in Shenzhen and Beijing
The first two BMW I experience stores will be launched in Shenzhen and Beijing next year and will be named BMW I Shenzhen and BMW I Beijing. The floor of the store is made of waste glass recycled from shenyang factory as aggregate, and the wall material is made of 100% degradable materials. Prefabrication, modular production and on-site assembly are also adopted in a large number of ways to reduce noise and dust pollution to the environment. In addition to displaying BMW I brand models, the exclusive BMW I experience store will rely on the dealer service system to provide customized test drive, sales and charging services, so as to meet customer needs in a more flexible and convenient way, so that more people can experience the charm of BMW I brand. In 2022, BMW will present five pure electric products for Chinese customers, including innovative BMW iX, innovative BMW I4, BMW iX3, pure electric 3 series and a pure electric flagship model. By the end of 2023, BMW Group plans to offer about 13 pure electric products in the Chinese market. At present, more than 500 out of nearly 600 BMW dealers in China have completed the BMW I business certification. The year 2025 will be an important point for BMW's strategic transformation. At that time, the BMW Group will launch the "next generation" model with a completely redesigned IT and software architecture, a new generation of high-performance electric drive systems and batteries, and a new concept of sustainability throughout the life cycle of the vehicle. The "new generation" will be an important driving force for the BMW Group to achieve sales of 10 million pure electric vehicles in the next decade
