Gm aims to achieve zero emissions for all light vehicles by 2035

China has also proposed the target of "50% market share of global new energy vehicles by 2035".
It also puts forward that pure electric vehicles should be fully marketized by 2025.

In a speech at the conference on September 17, GM President Mark Reith said gm aims to achieve zero emissions for all light-duty vehicles by 2035 and carbon neutral in its global products and operations by 2040.
In terms of electrification, GM will fully unleash the potential of aotron and VIP platforms and focus on the development of electrification products.
China is the preamble position for the global development of electric intelligent connected vehicles, and GM will be fully "in China, for China".
By 2025, more than 40% of GM's new models in China will be electric, smart and connected vehicles, Mr. Macraith said.
